As a result she has what is called Short Bowel Syndrome or "short gut" She has 4cm jejunum to transverse colon(6cm) to sigmoid colon(12cm). She is TPN dependent 20hours per day and receives some foods and meds via her g-tube. She also suffers from developmental delays in all areas of development and has Cerebral palsy specifically, spastic quadriparesis.
